Instructions for use of oil and water separator

**Instructions for Use:** Alright, here’s what you need to do to get the most out of your oil-water separator. First things first, when installing this device, make sure it's positioned directly along the flow path of the oil-contaminated wastewater. Align the outlet of the sewage with the inlet of the separator (or the sludge trap) and connect it to other equipment using appropriate pipelines. During installation, ensure that the unit is perfectly level horizontally. Any misalignment could mess up the separation process, so double-check this step. Once installed, before using it for the first time, fill the entire system with regular tap water. Then, gradually introduce the wastewater into the system until the oil outlets stop discharging any significant amount of water. This helps prime the system and ensures optimal performance from the get-go. After every use, remember to clean out the sludge collection box at the inlet. Remove any debris, empty it, and give it a thorough rinse to keep everything running smoothly. At the end of each day, don’t forget to open the waste oil drain valve to collect and dispose of the separated oil properly. During routine operation, make sure to clean the inside of the separator regularly. A good rule of thumb is to do this about once every two weeks, but if you notice any buildup or decreased efficiency, go ahead and clean it earlier. Regular maintenance will help extend the life of your equipment and maintain its effectiveness. If you follow these steps carefully, your oil-water separator will work efficiently and last longer.
