The study analyzed different SM and different energy storage capacity. The results show that under the condition that the rated capacity of the power plant is relatively high, the marginal value of the low-SM solar thermal power plant system is the largest, which is mainly due to the fact that the energy storage system can avoid the collected energy waste. However, for different SMs, the change in kWh is 6 to 9 hours, and the value of kWh begins to decrease after 9 hours. The smaller SM thermal power station is more conducive to handling high loads and is suitable for peak loads; the larger SM thermal power station can provide stable output for a longer period of time and is suitable for the base load. A smaller SM has a greater capacity value for a CSP station. Capacity is an important part of the value of solar thermal power plants. If the solar energy resources are reasonably scheduled and forecasted, CSP stations can generate capacity values ​​similar to those of traditional thermal power plants.
