Maintenance and maintenance tips for leather sofas

1. When you first get a new leather sofa, start by wiping the surface with a damp (not dripping) towel to remove dust and dirt. Then apply a leather care product gently, once or twice, but avoid using wax-based products. This creates a protective layer on the leather, preventing future stains from penetrating into the pores and making cleaning easier down the line.

2. Be cautious of sharp objects that could scratch the leather. Keep pets' nails trimmed and avoid placing keys, knives, or other sharp items near the sofa.

3. Avoid contact with oil, ink, ballpoint pens, or other substances that can stain the leather. If a stain occurs, clean it immediately with a leather cleaner. If you don’t have one, use a white cloth lightly dampened with alcohol to gently blot the stain. Follow up by drying with a clean, slightly damp towel and applying a leather protector afterward.

4. For daily maintenance, wipe the sofa with a wrung-out damp cloth. Every 2–3 months, use a leather cleaner or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the surface.

5. To prolong the life of your sofa, keep children from jumping or playing on it. Also, avoid direct contact between sweaty skin and the leather, as sweat can damage the material over time.

6. Ensure the sofa is placed at least 5–10 cm away from walls to allow proper air circulation, which helps prevent moisture buildup and mold growth.

7. Protect your leather sofa from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause fading. If your living room gets a lot of sun, consider rotating the sofa periodically. In high humidity areas, you can expose the sofa to weak morning sunlight (between 8 AM and 10 AM) for about an hour every three months to help dry out the leather naturally.

8. For sanding sofas, do not use the above methods unless it's for oil stains. Instead, use a soft copper brush to gently restore the leather’s appearance without damaging the surface.

Plunger Metering Pumps

As the name suggests, Diaphragm Metering Pump using a special design and processing of flexible diaphragm instead of the piston, under the action of the drive mechanism to achieve reciprocating motion, complete the suction - discharge process. Due to the segregation of the diaphragm, the isolation between the metering fluid and the driving lubrication mechanism is realized in the structure. High-tech structural design and the selection of new materials has greatly improved the service life of the diaphragm, coupled with excellent corrosion resistance of composite materials, diaphragm metering pumps become the main application of fluid measurement pump type.
