U.S. R&D Nanofibers Help Curate Cancer

Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States have recently devised nanofibers that can be used to lure cancer cells into the body where they can be safely operated or able to deal with it, and ultimately to kill cancer. The research report was published in the journal Nature Materials.

According to British media reports on the 17th, American scientists said that cancer "monorail" can be used to induce cancer cells into the human body, can be safely operated or able to deal with it, and finally achieve the purpose of killing cancer. A research group at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States was studying a hard-to-treat brain cancer glioblastoma that spreads through the brain.

While glioblastoma cancer cells walk along nerves and blood vessels, and then invade the brain, scientists mimic cancer cells and often use their walking or spreading channels to design a nanometer that is thinner than human hair. Fibers allow cancer cells to walk along with this fiber - what scientists call a "monorail of cancer." Using this lure of nanofiber tubes for cancer cells, researchers can direct tumors to their chosen brain parts. Experiments with animals have shown that tumor cells in the brain tumors shrink after being attracted and transferred by the nanofibers.

This world's first high-tech material with independent intellectual property rights can significantly improve the performance of automotive power batteries or battery packs, and will increase efficiency by 700% after being used on new energy batteries.
