According to statistics, in 2010 China's construction industry accounted for 6.6% of GDP, and employed more than 40 million people, becoming an important industry that absorbs large numbers of laborers and drives the development of the national economy. It is understood that many companies have deliberately selected potential talents from universities to cultivate talents in order to solve talent bottlenecks and reserve talents in advance.

The National "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" proposes that the construction industry should promote green building and green construction, and focus on using advanced building materials and information technology to optimize the structure and service model. By the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the energy consumption per unit of added value in the construction process of China's construction products should be reduced by 10%, and 100% of new construction projects should be in line with national energy conservation standards.
