Tianjin Invests 200 Million in Heating System to Keep Residents Warm This Winter
Tianjin is making a major investment of 200 million yuan this year to upgrade its heating infrastructure, ensuring that residents will no longer suffer from cold temperatures during the winter. The project focuses on the construction of a new main pipeline in the Beitang District, which is set to be completed by the end of September.
As of September 6th, construction has already begun at the Beitang Power Plant, with the project expected to wrap up by the end of the month. According to the site supervisor, the main pipeline being used for the heating system is a large 1400mm cast iron pipe. The total length of the pipeline is approximately 4.6 kilometers, and the entire project is estimated to cost around 200 million yuan.
The project is divided into six sections, stretching from the Beitang area all the way to the economic zone of Tianjin Beitang and the Huanggang leisure area. It also connects along the southern auxiliary road of the Jinjing trunk line. Once completed, this new heating network will significantly improve the efficiency and coverage of the heating system in the region.
With this investment, residents can expect a more stable and reliable heating supply this winter, reducing the risk of freezing conditions. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to improving living standards and modernizing its infrastructure.
