Tianjin invests 200 million yuan in heating upgrades, ensuring residents stay warm this winter. This year, Tianjin’s Beitang District has launched a major heating project aimed at improving the city's heating infrastructure and providing better warmth for residents. The new main pipeline is currently under construction, with work beginning on September 6th from the Beitang Power Plant. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September. According to the site supervisor, the project uses large-diameter spheroidal graphite cast iron pipes, with a diameter of 1400mm. The total length of the pipeline is approximately 4.6 kilometers, and the total investment amounts to around 200 million yuan. The project is divided into six sections, stretching from Beitang to the economic zone and the Huanggang leisure area. It also runs along the southern auxiliary road of the Jinjing trunk line. Once completed, the new heating system will provide reliable heat for residents during the upcoming winter season. This upgrade marks a significant step forward in improving living conditions and reducing the impact of cold weather on local communities.
