After a thorough search, it was found that the pile had been pulled out and placed in an abandoned area. The staff immediately contacted the local farmer to explain the importance of the pipeline marker and the relevant provisions of the "People's Republic of China Oil and Gas Pipeline Protection Law." The farmer initially disagreed, fearing that the pile might interfere with farming activities and refused to re-embed it in the farmland. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreement, the team contacted the village committee of Hutian Town in Zhangdian District, which managed the land. Following persistent communication and multiple discussions, the farmer finally agreed to restore the sign pile to its original location on March 2nd.
Zibo Station quickly arranged for personnel to carry out the on-site restoration, ensuring that all three pipelines were properly marked and fully functional.
