Architectural coatings are generally used under external conditions, and are greatly affected by the external environment. Cracks and the like are inevitable over time, and the emergence of elastic paints solves this industry problem.

Elastic architectural coatings are made of synthetic resin emulsions, formulated with pigments, fillers and additives. After applying a certain thickness, they have a flexible functional coating that produces fine cracks due to stretching (motion) of the substrate. Elastic architectural coatings have excellent extensibility, elasticity, and stain resistance, and are widely used for exterior wall decoration of large buildings.

Synthetic Resin Emulsion Elastic architectural paint film also has a certain permeability when it is waterproof and impervious. That is, the fine pores of the elastic architectural coating can allow a small amount of water vapor to enter and exit, and the water droplets with larger particle diameters are difficult to pass, thereby achieving the waterproof and breathable effect. In addition, a good elastic paint can effectively prevent carbon dioxide from penetrating into the base layer through the paint film, thereby preventing the carbonization of the wall concrete.

Compared with other exterior architectural coatings whose main function is decorative function, the flexible building is characterized by the decorative function and the protection function.
