IBM R & D will "breath" lithium battery

IBM is currently developing a lithium-ion air battery that works by drawing in oxygen from the air and reacting it with lithium ions to produce electricity. When the battery is parked, the battery releases oxygen. Breathing is normal. Allegedly, this battery is fully charged for a 500-mile drive and has excellent endurance. In addition, the quality of this lithium battery is very light and greatly reduces the car load. It is reported that IBM will cooperate with chemical giants Asahi Kasei and Central Glass, and is expected to push it into the market by 2030.
