V-groove detection of the bottom surface inclination

When we check the tools, clamps, and inspection tools in the tool shop, we often encounter the problem of the inclination of the V-shaped groove to the bottom surface. Previously, we used the isosceles triangle pieces with the same angle of the apex angle and the V-shaped groove (Fig. 1). The table is moved on the test plate, and the non-parallel readings are measured, and then converted to determine whether the inclination is excessive. This kind of detection method requires high precision due to the sample block, especially the processing of the three angles is time consuming, and the V-shaped angle of the workpiece is slightly different, and the sample block cannot be used universally.
