According to the random inspection report, the major problems in the spot check product are: some product logos and description items, input power and current items, grounding measure items, power connection and external cord items do not meet the standard requirements. Among them, the failure rate of signs and instructions for projects reached 48%, and the failure rate of input power and current projects reached 32%, becoming the most serious quality issue for smart toilet products.

This risk monitoring focuses on this performance, because using the warm air of 35°C-45°C to dry the buttocks is the most comfortable, and the human body will feel hot but not burn in a short time at 65°C. The recommended standard specifies that the temperature of the warm air should not exceed 65°C.

The monitoring results showed that the warm air temperature of the two batches of samples purchased from the physical store reached 72°C and there was a danger of burning human skin. Another six batches of samples have warm air temperatures between 61°C and 64°C, approaching the standard limit values.

The spot-check smart toilet products come from the sales market and e-commerce platform, among which the qualified rate of the products sampled in the sales market is 60%, and the qualified rate of products checked by the e-commerce platform is only 28%.
