4 Define continuous knife

The continuous knife type is defined as "parallel cylinder with Z axis" within the safe range. Since the X0, Y0, and ZO points are parallel to the Z axis, the transition between the tool paths will be connected with a cylinder having a radius of 100 mm and the axis passing through 0 points and parallel to the 7 axis, as shown in Fig. 10. In the first infeed, select "Use Infeed Macro Command", select "Use Retract Macro Macro" in the last retract point, the infeed macro program type is "Arc Tangent", and the arc sweep is set to 45. °, through the above settings can further control the infeed and exit of the tool path, see Figure 11-14.

The advance and retract knives have the same macro setting, so the same result is necessarily produced in the tool path of the blade machining (each layer is the same), see Figure 15.
