Dual positioning

In theory, high positioning accuracy can only be achieved without gap fit, and the 1:10 short cone system uses this principle. Under the action of sufficient tension, the elastic deformation of the taper produces an interference fit, achieving double positioning of the end face and the taper surface, so its precision is high and the joint rigidity is good (see Figure 3).

Repeated positioning accuracy is high

It is a high precision central linear system with repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.0025mm in radial and axial directions.

3.1.4 Short tool change time

According to the actual measurement, the tool change time of the system is only 30s.

Tool management systematization

In view of the small size, light weight and quick change of the system, it is suitable for large-scale machining centers, and the tools can be systematically managed to unify the tool and test.

Balanced performance

The design principle of the short cone strives for a stable dynamic balance, that is, the system's balance performance does not change when it is close to high speed and accuracy.

Internal cooling system

The cutting unit of the internal cooling mechanism or the boring tool with the internal cooling unit can greatly improve the life of the tool.

Large clamping force and small locking torque

Compared with the general taper positioning, the locking force is 5 to 7 times that of the conventional one, and the locking torque of the 25th handle is 2.5 to 3.5 N?m, and the radial pressure is 2.8 kN; the locking torque of the 100-handle is 181.6 ~ 242.7N?m, generating a radial pressure of 43.9kN.

Different torque transfer methods

The CAPTO system uses a triangular pyramid connection to transmit torque for torque and force without slip. Independent of the direction of rotation, and does not create a self-locking phenomenon. Due to the special shape of the triangular circle, the force acting on the joint surface is symmetrically and uniformly distributed, and the contact surface is large, and no stress peak phenomenon occurs. The vibration deformation is small, and the wear is also significantly reduced due to the low surface pressure. KM and HSK are clamped by steel balls or circlips. The steel balls transmit torque, and the torque and force are transmitted by sliding, which is selective to the direction of rotation.
