2009 Beijing Powder Week kicked off

The International Powder Technology and Application Forum and the National Powder Products and Equipment Application Technology Exchange Conference officially kicked off in Beijing on March 30. The event will last for 5 days. In the same period, the International Powder Technology and Equipment Exhibition and the International Industrial Powder Raw Materials Exhibition will be held. The Forum and the Exhibition will form the “2009 Beijing Powder Week”. The conference included three topics: micro-nano powder compounding and functional material development, comprehensive utilization of resources and energy saving and consumption of powder processing technology in modern concrete.

The event was strongly supported by social groups and research institutes such as China Building Materials Federation, China High-Tech Industry Development Promotion Association, International Powder Testing and Control Federation, China Metals Society Powder Metallurgy Branch, and international counterparts. In response, representatives from the Australian Powder and Bulk Materials Association, the Australian Mining Association, the Japan Patent Office, Tohoku University, Japan's Kurimoto Iron Works, Mongolian Mining Company, Procter & Gamble, Heidelberg, Germany and Swedish Powder Equipment Company Participated in the meeting, nearly 350 people attended the meeting. The well-known experts in the powder industry will introduce the domestic and international cutting-edge technologies in the powder field for powder product users, manufacturers, equipment and instrument manufacturers, research institutes and students.
