The National Energy Administration recently issued the Notice on the Construction of a Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Demonstration Zone. The notice was called to implement the relevant opinions of the State Council and expand the distributed photovoltaic power generation application market. The list of the first batch of distributed photovoltaic power generation demonstration zones has been confirmed. Including 18 parks, the total planned installed capacity in 2013 was 749 MW.
The notice pointed out that the purpose of creating a distributed photovoltaic power generation application demonstration park is to expand the scale of distributed photovoltaic power generation applications and explore the technology, management and operation modes that are suitable for the scaled application of distributed photovoltaic power generation. The demonstration area project adopts the operation mode of “spontaneous use, surplus electricity access, power grid adjustmentâ€, and implements electricity subsidies. The proportion of spontaneous use of demonstration projects is higher than 70%, and the highest is 100%. In 2013, the planned installed capacity of the demonstration area totaled 749MW, and the planned installed capacity in 2015 totaled 1,823MW.
In addition, according to the information disclosed by the New Energy Department of the Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, in October this year, the National Energy Administration will also launch the second batch of national distributed photovoltaic power generation application demonstration zones.
