Establishing a new material technology maturity evaluation system is one of the key tasks of the New Materials Industry Development Guide. In order to do a good job in standard preparation, on May 4, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Raw Materials Industry, the Department of Science and Technology, the Industry Standards Committee of the National Standards Committee and the standards preparation team held a working meeting in Beijing.
The meeting discussed the draft standard for the classification and definition of maturity of new materials technology, and clarified the next work plan and related arrangements. According to the standard preparation plan, we will strive to complete the approval work within the year, and select some new materials technology fields to carry out the technology maturity evaluation pilot.
