The monitoring found that nearly 90% of product labels were not standardized, 20 products were unqualified, and the rate of disqualification was as high as 36.4%, which was nearly 11% higher than the sample check in the same period of 2005.

Jian Qun brand interior latex paint 5L/barrel (Shanghai Kinqun Paint Chemical Co., Ltd., manufactured in July 2006), the monitoring found that free formaldehyde, contrast ratio, washability of three indicators failed at the same time, the quality is very poor.
In addition, the monitoring found that nearly 90% of product labels were not standardized, and the product packaging labels were not complete and did not indicate product implementation standards or grades. Different grades of goods, quality and price are very different, consumers must pay special attention when buying.
For the results of this monitoring, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce will order the company to immediately stop the sale of substandard products, and will impose administrative penalties on distribution companies of substandard goods according to law.

When purchasing interior latex paint, attention should be paid to the following points: First, identify the product packaging label and shelf life. Qualified product identifiers shall have product grades, production units, implementation standards, date of manufacture, warranty period, storage instructions, packaging specifications, etc.; 2. After use, it is easy to cause poor water resistance, powder fall off, and fall off of the paint. Fourth, carefully read the construction instructions to see if you need to use the supporting primer. If you need to use, use the same brand of supporting products as much as possible.
